In contrast to the City above- commonly referred to as 'Topside'- are the Steam Tunnels. This underground network is home to an industrious Black Market and contains access points to every District in Vascxious Sigma. While Topside is virtually free of crime, the Steam Tunnels are not quite as safe. It is understood in the Trade City that should one have business below ground, one should take care: those who rule the underground can be unforgiving. . .
